The 7th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations, which we conducted on behalf of our 1,000 members at the international courier company UPS Hızlı Kargo A.Ş., have concluded with the signing of the agreement and new gains.

Agreement Signed with Members’ Approval
Our union conducted the CBA process in close consultation with its members. From drafting the CBA proposal to signing the agreement, members were actively involved at every stage. Throughout the negotiations, members were kept informed, and meetings were held in all regions and cities with full participation. In the final stage, the agreement was signed with the approval of the majority of our members.
UPS Cargo, the only courier company operating on a five-day workweek, has taken another step forward in securing rights for cargo workers with this 7th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Despite the unfair competition posed by non-union courier companies that employ workers for 10-12 hours a day on low wages without even paying overtime, and the pressures they exert on our organized workplaces, we have successfully signed a CBA without any loss of rights for our members.
We hope that the signed CBA will be beneficial to UPS workers and all our members.
Call for Unity Among All Cargo Workers
Our union will continue its struggle to improve and advance the economic and social rights of cargo workers. We call on all cargo, logistics, and transportation workers who are working under insecure and non-unionized conditions to join our union and unite their strength.
